Nine days to go for SPACE 2022 and conference on aquafeeds at Aquaculture SPACE

Posted on

Annually, SPACE, the international livestock trade exhibition is held in the Rennes Exhibition Centre.
Year 2022 will be its 35th anniversary and SPACE has ambitions to make its 2022 edition stronger than ever. SPACE will be from 13-15 September 2022.

Aquaculture is the fastest growing animal production sector in recent years. While the bulk of shrimp and fish farming is based in Asia, it is also developing in all other global regions.  There are also areas where the sector posts over 10% growth, particularly in Africa, where the potential remains largely under-exploited.

The volumes produced by aquaculture are expected to continue to grow in the coming years, and it is estimated that farmed fish will represent a higher volume than capture fisheries.

With this in mind, SPACE has developed some activities to showcase the aquaculture sector:
• itinerary guide for visitors.
• visual identification of those stands offering relevant solutions.
• two conferences (each lasting a half day) scheduled on September13. To reach a wide audience, one will be in French and the other

Below is the program and speakers for the half day aquafeed conference.
Tuesday 13 September 2022 10am-1pm
(Salle H de l’Espace Administration)
