
The 10th Annual Practical Short Course on “Extruded Pet Foods and Treats†will be from July 7-11, 2025 . This is a one-week Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Foods and Treats conducted at Texas A&M University in hybrid format by staff, industry representatives, and consultants.
The program will cover information on pet food nutrition, material handling, preconditioning, extrusion of pet foods, extruded and non-extruded treats, baked pet treats, raw material, extrusion hardware, automation, product analysis, meat handling in pet food, drying, cooling, and enrobing, food safety, pet food and treat shelf life, trouble shooting and pet food related class activities.
