– Utrecht, Netherlands is set to host the forum once again, at the beginning of September
The Global Shrimp Forum is returning to Utrecht for its fifth anniversary edition, with the dates locked in for 2026.
GSF2026 will take place between September 1st and September 3rd in Utrecht, Netherlands – the location for the previous four editions – at the Hotel Van Der Valk.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the conclusion of this year’s forum, which featured a record number of seminars, side-events and expert speakers.
Since its inception in 2022, the Global Shrimp Forum has grown in stature to become the foremost global event in the shrimp sector’s calendar. The forum was the catalyst for the formation of the Global Shrimp Council, has regularly used its financial surplus to invest in key reports and studies for the benefit of the industry at large, the most recent of which, a report entitled ‘100% Shrimp’ will be released in January 2026, and this year saw 580 delegates from all corners of the globe gather to help address the industry’s challenges and seize its opportunities.

Registration for Global Shrimp Forum 2026 will open on March 1st, 2026. For those who wish to stay at the Van Der Valk Hotel during the forum, reservations will open for sponsors and exhibitors on February 1st, 2026. For all other delegates, hotel bookings can be made once a ticket has been purchased. Information on ticket prices and programme information will be announced in the new year.
