John Pawlikowski, President & CEO, In-Situ Inc, announced on 25 November 2025, that Veralto has signed an agreement to acquire In-Situ. Following customary regulatory review and approval – expected in Q1 2026 – In-Situ will join OTT HydroMet as part of Veralto’s Water Quality segment.
This partnership combines In-Situ’s nearly 50 years of innovation in groundwater and surface-water monitoring with Veralto’s global reach and investment in water analytics. Together with OTT HydroMet, we will be able to bring you broader expertise, integrated solutions, and expanded service capability – while continuing to deliver the same trusted products and support you rely on today.
It is business as usual, said Pawlikowski.
“Until close, In-Situ and OTT HydroMet will continue to operate as two completely independent companies just as we do today. Existing contracts, pricing, and service contacts remain unchanged. There is no disruption to orders, deliveries, or technical support. Your In-Situ account manager and service team remain your primary contacts. Looking ahead, being part of Veralto will allow us to accelerate innovation, scale our solutions globally, and invest even more in the people and technologies that help you achieve your water-management goals.”
In a press release, Veralto (NYSE: VLTO) a global leader in essential water and product quality solutions dedicated to Safeguarding the World’s Most Vital Resources™, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire In-Situ for $435 million, subject to customary closing adjustments. The purchase price, after considering estimated tax benefits, is approximately $422 million. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
