Alltech, a global leader in animal nutrition and health, has announced the appointment of Shaoguang Feng as general manager for China.
In this role, Feng will oversee the company’s business strategy and operations across China. The appointment reflects Alltech’s continued commitment to strengthening its organizational capabilities, enhancing market responsiveness and accelerating business transformation and sustainable growth in one of its most important markets.
Feng joined Alltech in 2019 as finance director for Alltech Greater China. In August 2021, he assumed the additional role of deputy general manager of commercial operations for China while continuing to serve as finance director. During his tenure, he has played a key role in business decision-making, leading teams through multiple external challenges while driving organizational transformation and operational excellence within a rapidly evolving industry landscape. His leadership, strategic vision and execution have made significant contributions to the company’s continued success.
Prior to joining Alltech, Feng held a variety of finance leadership and business support roles across several General Electric businesses, including GE Capital, Plastics, Oil and Gas, and Healthcare. His extensive multinational management experience has equipped him with strong capabilities in cross-functional integration, business strategy and risk management.
Since joining Alltech, Feng has successfully combined financial expertise with commercial and operational leadership. In addition to strengthening the company’s
financial management systems in China, he has played an instrumental role in shaping commercial strategies that have enabled the business to navigate market uncertainty and capture new growth opportunities. His decisive leadership, agile approach and innovative mindset have helped position the company for long-term success.
