Ca Mau Aquatic Feed Factory was officially inaugurated by C.P. Vietnam on August 7, 2026. This is the 4th aquafeed factory of C.P. Group in Vietnam, bringing the total aquafeed production capacity of the enterprise to more than 650,000 tonnes/year, contributing to the supply of advanced nutritional solutions for the shrimp farming industry, creating stable livelihoods for local people and contributing to improving the value of the shrimp chain. promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s fisheries industry.
The ceremony was attended by Le Van Su, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, Boonlap Watcharawanitchakul, Deputy General Director in charge of Fisheries, C.P. Vietnam, representatives of state management agencies, partners, customers, press agencies and staff, employees working at the factory.
Supporting shrimp farmers to access nutritional solutions and advanced farming techniques locally
Located at Lot B5, Khanh An Industrial Park, Khanh An Commune, Ca Mau Province, with an area of nearly 18 hectares and a total investment of 1,725 billion VND, Ca Mau Aquafeed Factory – C.P. Vietnam has a design capacity of 124,800 tonnes/year, specializing in the production of key feed lines for shrimp such as Blanca, CP, Hi-Po, Hi-Gro, Lotus, and Nasa. These feed lines are strictly controlled in terms of nutrient content, sinking, water durability, moisture, size and dust ratio, helping to improve the resistance of shrimp, supporting good and healthy growth of shrimp.
Ca Mau Aquafeed Factory – C.P. Vietnam is synchronously invested in a system of modern machinery and equipment and automation in many stages of production. In particular, the SCADA monitoring, controlling and data collection system supports the accurate dosing of each raw material component, controlling the mixing time and operating parameters, thereby contributing to ensuring stable and uniform product quality and improving production efficiency.
With the operation of the Ca Mau aquafeed factory, C.P. Vietnam wishes to strengthen its capacity to provide quality nutritional solutions right in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta, shorten the distance of transporting animal feed to shrimp farming areas, improve the initiative in delivery and transportation management. Thereby, farmers and businesses in the seafood value chain in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta region have more conditions to access stable quality feed sources, suitable for diverse nutritional needs according to each stage of shrimp development and different shrimp farming conditions; at the same time, they are supported with advanced and modern farming techniques right in the locality.
Ca Mau Aquatic Feed Factory – C.P. Vietnam currently creates stable jobs for nearly 200 officials and employees. At the same time, the factory cooperates with suppliers and provides ancillary services, thereby bringing stable income and livelihood to local workers.

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors, Ca Mau is one of the key shrimp production centers of the country. In 2025, the province’s shrimp production will reach 594,851 tonnes, equal to 101.9% of the plan and an increase of 5.2% compared to 2024. This result continues to affirm the important role of the shrimp industry in the local economy and Ca Mau’s position in Vietnam’s shrimp industry.
The operation of a modern aquafeed factory in Ca Mau is an effort of C.P. Vietnam to contribute to improving the ability to supply shrimp feed locally, promoting the production efficiency of key shrimp farming areas, thereby enhancing the contribution of the shrimp industry to economic development.
