“Innovative value chain upgrading†is the goal that the shrimp industry is aiming for and this is also the message of the fourth Vietshrimp Aquaculture International Fair 2023, referred to as “VietShrimp 2023â€.
It will be held from 12 – 14 April, 2023 at the Can Tho Trade and Investment Promotion Center and Exhibition Fair (CPA), Can Tho City.
VietShrimp 2023 wishes to join hands to contribute to acting together, realizing the Government’s policy, becoming a big “forum†of all 4 families: Manager – scientist – businessman – farmer; introducing new technological products, advanced models, connecting production and consumption, in order to increase output, value, and ensure benefits for the Vietnamese shrimp industry community; promote the image of Vietnamese shrimp in the world market… to bring Vietnamese seafood further to the global market.
The event aims at
- Introducing the achievements of the shrimp industry, promoting the image of Vietnamese shrimp in the world market.
- Introducing the achievements of the shrimp industry, and promoting the image of Vietnamese shrimp in the world market.
- Introducing new technology products, and advanced models, connecting production and consumption, in order to improve output and value, and ensure benefits for the Vietnamese shrimp industry community.
- Evaluating the potential, strengths as well as difficulties, and challenges of the shrimp industry in the coming time.
- Creating opportunities for enterprises to cooperate in developing and expanding business markets; promoting and introducing brand products of businesses to consumers.
- Creating opportunities for farm owners and farmers to witness and access new technologies with their own eyes; share good models and methods; visitors can learn and apply for their own production activities.
- Exchanging experience, transferring technology, and introducing modern and advanced technological equipment in the world to apply to the shrimp industry.
- Helping partners involved in the shrimp production process (from seed, feed, probiotics, processes, and services to farmers) have a close look and act in accordance with the farming criteria responsible for farming, in order to ensure the effective and sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp farming industry.
- Contributing to turning Vietnam’s shrimp industry into a large, highly competitive, and sustainable production industry; making Vietnam become the world’s leading shrimp producer; striving by 2025 the total export value of shrimp products will reach 10 billion USD; which the Mekong Delta is the capital of high-quality shrimp farming and processing.
Program Overview
Activities of VietShrimp 2023 include:
A fair with an estimated 200 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises in the shrimp industry in particular and aquaculture in general. There will be three seminars on 12 – 13, April 2023.
