In a press release dated September 14th, 2023, organisers WAS and WAS-APC have announced the New Show Dates for APA 2024 – July 2-5, 2024.
The Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2024 which was initially planned to take place June 11 to 14, 2024 in Surabaya, Indonesia will now be held on July 2-5, 2024, instead. The Steering Committee and the organiser of APA24 have taken this decision as Indonesia will be holding its presidential elections on June 12, 2024.
The APA2024 will remain at the same venue – Grand City Hall Surabaya , Indonesia over the new show dates on July 2-5, 2024. For those who have previously registered to attend APA 24, the current registration and exhibition booth details will be transferred over to the new dates by default.
The abstract deadline submission has been rescheduled to January 31, 2024.
After the first successful World Aquaculture in 2005 in Bali and following the successful Asian Pacific Aquaculture (APA) in 2016 in Surabaya, the World Aquaculture Society -Asian Pacific Chapter (WAS-APC) has decided to return to Indonesia again in 2024. Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2024 (APA2024) will attract thousands of international attendees for a three-day conference featuring industry speakers, showcasing innovative research, workshops, tours and more.
APA 2024 will be hosted by Directorate General of Aquaculture , Ministry of Marine Affairs & Fisheries (MMAF) Republic of Indonesia. The three-day international conference and exhibition will be held at the Grand City Convention and Exhibition Surabaya, Indonesia.
The theme of the conference has been chosen to be “Aquaculture –Driving the Blue Economyâ€.
The first APA24 signing agreement with Dr TB. Haeru Rahayu, Director General of Aquaculture of MMAF was signed on June 14,2023. APA24 will be the next global exceptional expo to learn and discuss the latest developments in the aquaculture industry in this challenging time and see the rapidly expanding international aquaculture industry in Asia and the rest of the world. At the same time, APA24 also creates a great opportunity to explore, engage, share your knowledge, and meet potential business partners around the world as well as enjoy the amusing touristic attractions and destinations in Indonesia.
