From 23 April to 25 April 2024, GLOBALG.A.P. and GGN label representatives will once again be on-site at Seafood Expo Global, the annual Barcelona trade fair that is a key event in the calendars of all seafood stakeholders.

Panel discussion to highlight key issues in aquaculture supply chains
The panel discussion, taking place at 2 p.m. on 23 April, will focus on the topic of responsible aquaculture supply chains – specifically the challenge of “Addressing evolving transparency requirements from farm to consumerâ€.
Panelists from both the producer and retailer sectors, as well as participants from the European Commission, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and a prominent NGO will come together to explore the crucial topic of supply chain legislation in Europe, the EU, and beyond, as well as the role of certification in supporting responsible farming practices.

Moderated by Marco Frederiksen, Director of Eurofish, the event will showcase the cross-sector perspectives of industry experts from the entire aquaculture value chain and is expected to draw a diverse audience.
