VietShrimp 2025: International conference on “Greening Farming” for sustainable shrimp industry development

The international conference “Greening Farming,” part of the VietShrimp 2025 Expo, is co-organized by the Vietnam Directorate of Fisheries, the Vietnam Fisheries Society (VINAFIS), and Vietnam Aquaculture Magazine. As a renowned scientific forum, the conference offers in-depth discussions and sustainable solutions to drive the long-term growth of Vietnam’s shrimp industry and aquaculture sector.

The conference features four key discussion sessions:

Session 1: Accelerating the green transformation of Vietnam’s shrimp industry

Chaired by the Directorate of Fisheries, this session will offer a comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s shrimp industry in 2024 and highlight strategic development priorities for 2025.

Session 2: Low-emission shrimp farming

This session highlights innovative models and initiatives that help the shrimp industry reduce emissions and environmental pollution while improving production efficiency and fostering sustainable profitability.

Session 3: Enhancing the shrimp industry supply chain

This session will explore holistic solutions for every critical stage of the shrimp industry, from breeding, feed, and nutrition to medicine and logistics, covering the entire supply chain to enhance product quality and optimize costs.

Session 4: Leveraging technology – Cutting costs in shrimp farming

This session delves into digital solutions, automation, and data analytics to empower farmers with smarter pond management, boost productivity, and reduce reliance on manual labor.
